California Ayurvedic College relocates to Nevada, CA.
The California College of Ayurveda has moved its base at 700 Zion Street in Nevada City, CA. The shifting took place just before the commencement of the full time 2010-2011 Level I Ayurvedic Studies programme.
This campus includes a community healthcare clinic providing state of the art disease management service and prevention techniques. It also offers classes in weight loss, breathing techniques, ease depression and anxiety, meditation, yoga, etc.
The California College of Ayurveda was founded in 1995 by Dr. Marc Halpern and is widely regarded as the finest institution for the study of Ayurvedic medicine in the United States. The new location offers students across the nation with a unique opportunity to gain training in herbal treatment in a herbal teaching and demonstration garden.. CCA offers a comprehensive curriculum, with three levels of programs leading to certification as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist (C.A.S.). It also offers other short length programmes in the form of workshops, seminars and other training programmes.
